The morning began with over an hour of songs and games as MUSIK board member Lucia Schaefer led the group in demonstrations of all of the activities. The event was truly collaborative; Many participants offered brilliant suggestions and shared how they could adjust the games to accommodate of all of their students.
The rest of the morning was spent being creative: everyone was busy coloring, tracing, cutting, and pasting! Four different stations around the room were set up to make manipulatives and game pieces for over a dozen fun activities. The atmosphere in the room was relaxed and cheerful as everyone chatted and worked at their own pace.
